Actor Jung Sun-kyung shared an update from Tokyo, Japan, for the first time in seven years, and his past denial of rumors that his husband was yakuza was reexamined.
On the 14th, Oh Yeon-soo released a video on her YouTube channel titled "Came to Tokyo following my husband's business trip / meeting a friend (with Jung Sun-kyung) / outlet shopping."
That day Oh Yeon-soo said, "A friend lives in Tokyo, so I'm going to meet them now. There's a friend I meet whenever I come to Tokyo," and then actor Jung Sun-kyung appeared.
Jung Sun-kyung, who showed her face in front of the camera for the first time in a long while, drew attention with her natural appearance and bright smile. Jung Sun-kyung has not continued acting since the 2017 film "One Day."
Oh Yeon-soo said of Jung Sun-kyung, "Before being an actress, she is a friend who, following her husband, is living a mother's life in a foreign country," and added, "I heard she is satisfied with her current life and is living happily." She added, "Meeting my friend made me happy as well," mentioning her close relationship with Jung Sun-kyung.
After the video was released and it became known that Jung Sun-kyung resides in Tokyo, rumors that Jung Sun-kyung's husband was yakuza were reexamined. Previously, it was reported that Jung Sun-kyung married a Zainichi Korean in 2007 and has been raising two daughters while going between Japan and Singapore.
In this context, a rumor arose that Jung Sun-kyung's husband was yakuza, but Jung Sun-kyung appeared on a variety show in the past and said, "Because we married quietly, a rumor spread that my husband is yakuza. He's an ordinary company employee the same age as me," as a clarification.
Meanwhile, Jung Sun-kyung debuted in the 1994 film "Sending Myself to You."
