Disney+ series 'Moving 2' casting change rumors involving the role of Bong-seok have surfaced, and Disney said it is "unable to confirm."
On the 16th, Disney told OSEN regarding actor Won Gyu-bin's alleged joining of Moving season 2 that it was "unable to confirm."
However, given the global OTT's strict casting confidentiality, this is being read as a de facto acknowledgement.
Moving is a work based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Kang Full, and season 1 set the record for the highest viewership among Disney+ Korean original series at the time of its release, achieving global success. It also drew attention because Kang Full himself wrote the screenplay and expanded the universe.
Season 2 is expected to expand the story focusing on new characters and narratives following the previous installment, and production is reportedly underway with a goal of releasing it in 2027.
However, the military enlistment of actor Lee Jung-ha, who played the role of Kim Bong-seok in season 1, has emerged as a variable. Lee Jung-ha enlisted in the Marine Corps on Jan. 26 to fulfill his defense duties, and his expected discharge date is July 2027.
In connection with this, there is speculation that newcomer Won Gyu-bin may newly join in the role of Bong-seok.
Won Gyu-bin is a rookie actor born in 2004 who debuted last year through the web drama Cheongdam International High School 2 and gained recognition.
