The group KISS OF LIFE spoke out directly and opened up amid controversy over the suggestiveness of their choreography.
KISS OF LIFE recently held a live broadcast and addressed controversy over the suggestiveness of part of the choreography for their new song "Who is she."
That day the members said, "We always try new challenges and want to show a confident, bold side. We know there can't be only positive reactions, but we still think our challenging selves are cool. We're also grateful to the fans who see it that way," they said.
They went on, "We are people ready to humbly accept correct feedback," adding, "Dance, music and art are judged by different standards by each person. We respect critical opinions. Those people were not wrong either. If they felt that way, then they felt it."
KISS OF LIFE lamented, "It is upsetting when words hurt each other. All women are beautiful, all are sexy, all are perfect, and each is different for her own reason—what is the answer? There are people who speak as if there is only one answer and say it's strange if you are not close to it. The most important thing seems to be having the feeling that you are most confident in yourself," they said.
Meanwhile, KISS OF LIFE was embroiled in controversy over suggestiveness for a choreography challenge video for their recently released new song "Who is she." In the challenge, members looked at one another, simulated strangling necks, and continued performances that popped their hips, and netizens who saw it responded with comments such as "it's excessively suggestive" and "the neck-grabbing performance is unpleasant."<
