The group Monsta X (MONSTA X) captivated the eyes and ears of viewers around the world with a gripping live performance on a major U.S. talk show.
On the 15th (local time), Monsta X appeared as a guest on the popular U.S. NBC program The Kelly Clarkson Show. This broadcast was one of the promotional activities for the recently released U.S. full-length album Unfold, and it drew major attention because the group returned to that studio after no less than six years.
On that broadcast, the members performed the main track of the new album, "Heal." Wearing chic, subdued black-toned outfits, Monsta X focused on fully conveying the song's deep emotional arc rather than on flashy performances. With vocals rich in detail and unwavering singing ability, they perfectly showcased a mature musical spectrum different from the group's previously intense image, prompting admiration from local viewers.
Previously, they set a significant milestone in 2020 as the first K-pop idol invited to that program. Monsta X, who showed explosive stage manner with the title song "You Can't Hold My Heart" from their first U.S. full-length album All About Luv, after six years has once again proven their stature as a true global top artist, armed with deeper skill and a distinctive aura.
Unfold, unveiled on the 3rd, is an album that tells the story of confronting cracks in relationships and moving toward true healing and growth. It is filled with 10 diverse genres such as R&B, pop and hip-hop, and especially the title track "Heal" delivers a stirring message of consolation in a gospel style that blends grand orchestral strings and a heavy bass.
Above all, with this new release Monsta X achieved the rare feat of becoming the first K-pop act to release three U.S. full-length albums. The results have been notable. All three U.S. albums entered the Billboard main chart Billboard 200 consecutively, and they have dominated high positions on Billboard's subcharts, showing powerful influence with No. 2 on Top Album Sales, No. 9 on Independent Albums and No. 37 on Billboard Artist 100.
Meanwhile, Monsta X, which is accelerating its global activities while successfully carrying out U.S. promotions, plans to head to Jakarta, Indonesia, on the upcoming 18th to continue the momentum of the world tour 2026 Monsta X World Tour [The X: Nexus].
