"Sim Woo-myeon Yeon Ri-ri" can Park Sung-woong restore his relationship with his three sons?
On the 16th, KBS@ miniseries "Sim Woo-myeon Yeon Ri-ri" (writers Song Jeong-rim, Wang Hyeji, director Choi Yeon-soo, produced by Sim Story) will show Seong Tae-hoon (Park Sung-woong) launching a "getting-close project" with his three sons Seong Ji-cheon (Lee Jinwoo), Seong Ji-sang (Seo Yun-hyeok) and Seong Ji-gu (Yang Woo-hyeok).
In the previous episode, the Seong household caused a commotion in Yeon Ri-ri village and fell into turmoil after two of the sons ran away. On top of that, the elder son Seong Ji-cheon's withdrawal from medical school was revealed, plunging Seong Tae-hoon into shock amid a string of crisis situations. In particular, tensions deepened as the trauma and the first son Seong Ji-cheon's seemingly resolute, closed-off attitude rose to the surface.
Without telling his wife Jo Mi-ryeo (Lee Soo-kyung) about Seong Ji-cheon's withdrawal, Seong Tae-hoon reflects on his long indifference toward his children and decides to reorganize his "child rearing." He begins sincere efforts, personally preparing breakfast and being the first to speak to his sons.
But the sudden change in their father leaves the three sons bewildered and brings laughter. In particular, Seong Ji-cheon still maintains a cold attitude toward his father, creating a tense, spear-and-shield-like standoff. From a father-son relationship marked by polar opposites, it becomes intriguing whether Seong Tae-hoon's sincerity can truly reach his three sons.
