The group Stray Kids was selected as an AMA nominee for the second consecutive year.
On the 14th (local time), according to the list of nominees released on the official website by the American Music Awards (American Music Awards), Stray Kids was named a nominee in the "2026 AMA" category for "best Namsung K-pop artist."
Stray Kids previously performed on the AMA stage in 2024 as the second K-pop group ever to do so. Last year they were nominated for "favorite K-pop artist" and "favorite soundtrack."
This year they are garnering attention from fans around the world after being nominated for the second consecutive year.
The American Music Awards is considered one of the three major music award shows in the United States alongside the Billboard Music Awards and the Grammys. It will be held on May 25.
