Comedian Lee Sang-hae confessed to feeling guilty toward his parents.

That day Lee Sang-hae met with his high school friends and recalled memories. He recalled his debut situation: "There was an actor recruitment notice this big in the newspaper. I went and took the audition. It was ridiculous, English songs. Everyone just sang with fake pronunciation. None of it was right. Pronunciation, rhythm, everything was wrong. I failed, I was disappointed, and then someone told me, 'You passed, so come out quickly.'
After dropping out of high school, Lee Sang-hae began his career as a comedian, and he debuted on broadcasts as a comedy duo with Lee Sang-han and gained great popularity. After that, he also played a leading role in making the late Lee Ju-il the "comedy emperor," and to this day he is respected by juniors as a master of stand-up comedy.
But Lee Sang-hae stopped while walking in front of his high school and drew attention. He showed regret, saying, "When I come this way I always pass by in front of here. Even if I pass by, I cannot enter here. I am a sinner of this school. Because if I had studied hard when teachers taught, how great would I have become. My biggest regret is that when teachers at this school said, 'Study,' I didn't listen to them."
He confessed, "At home my mother opposed me becoming a comedian. She said, 'Why are you acting like a shaman?' She asked, 'Which family descendant are you to be acting like a shaman?' and forbade it. She said that fellow ruined our family."
As the eldest grandson among six siblings, he carried the family's expectations, but when he dropped out of high school and pursued comedy, the disappointment was great. Lee Sang-hae bowed his head, saying, "But as my name grew, my father came to watch. He came from far away to see, and gradually he stopped scolding me," adding, "Anyway, a sinner is a sinner."
