Actor Lee Hae-in bought a 4 billion won building, but because of vacancies she had to pay 12 million won in interest per month; fortunately two vacancies were filled and the interest decreased.
Lee Hae-in wrote on her social media on the 14th, "This is the building people said wouldn't work." In the video Lee Hae-in said, "People said this building wouldn't work. Six vacancies, no one would come in," and explained, "interest is 12 million won, but because of the vacancies I am covering 6 million won myself."
But Lee Hae-in did not give up and said, "So I started filling them myself. The result? I filled two. Now I only have to cover about 3 million won a month. The atmosphere is changing. Four vacancies remain. I will try to fill them to the end," she said.
Earlier last month Lee Hae-in asked, "Monthly interest 12 million won, monthly rent 6 million won. If it were you, would you hold on or sell?"
She said she took out a 3.2 billion won loan in February and purchased the 4 billion won building. In the process she described herself as a "livelihood-type landlord," saying, "Debt is part of my life and an investment in my life."
Lee Hae-in said the building's occupancy rate is about 50% and confessed, "Currently only half of the rentals are occupied," and "I have to cover 6 million won out of my own pocket every month," and "I'm honestly scared because there are six vacancies."
At one point Lee Hae-in also urged, "If anyone around you is looking for commercial space, please contact me via DM or email."
About a month later, after filling two vacancies, Lee Hae-in said her interest burden decreased.
Meanwhile, Lee Hae-in debuted as a CF model in 2005 and became known through tvN's "fun TV roller coaster."
