In the released photos, Poppin Hyun Joon is shown hospitalized and wearing a patient gown. His face gaunt, Poppin Hyun Joon had an IV in the back of his hand, and his wife Park Ae-Ri was caring for him at his bedside.
In particular, Poppin Hyun Joon explained his current condition, saying, "A gastric adenoma is a benign tumor that develops in the stomach lining, but if left as is it is a precancerous lesion with a very high possibility of progressing to cancer," and explained why he was hospitalized.
Meanwhile, last December Poppin Hyun Joon resigned from his position as professor in the practical dance department at Baekseok Arts University after inappropriate remarks and behavior.
He bowed his head and said, "First, I sincerely apologize to the students. He added, "As responsibility for this, I resign from my position as professor in the practical dance department at Baekseok Arts University effective today. Thank you for everything up to now. I again deeply apologize to the students."
