A so-called "sacred post" that spread immediately after the dating confirmation mentioned the two's relationship and included the claim, "Bata met Ji Ye-eun immediately after breaking up with a partner he had dated for six years," which escalated the controversy.
Bata's side immediately drew a line. Agency Aei on the 15th said, "We have refrained from responding because it is not worth mentioning," but added, "False information is spreading, so we will make it clear: the allegation is groundless."
