Ifeye (Kasia, Ra-hee, Won Hwayeon, Sasha, Taerin, Miyu) released the full audio of their third EP As if and the music video for the title track "Hazy (Daisy)" on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 15th.
April 8, 2025. Debuting with the meaning "girls who make imagination into reality," Ifeye followed their first EP ELRU BLUE, which highlighted "mystery" and "innocent chic," and returned on July 16 with mini album wave Nang Pt.2 "sweet tang" only 100 days after their debut, shedding the mysterious girl image and leaving a strong impression with a more mature and confident look.
Ifeye continued active promotions with a rapid comeback three months after debut, but they left fans anxious during a nine-month hiatus. In the meantime, they expanded contact with overseas fans through events including a global fan signing and fan concert and various festival stages, and they also carried out a system overhaul including a full replacement of the production team to reorganize their music, performance and overall visuals.
The third EP As if, released after the reorganization, captures Ifeye's expanded musical spectrum with a diverse track list that crosses genres. Beginning with the two syllables meaning "if," the album takes as its theme questions anyone has murmured to themselves at least once. It weaves together in varied sounds the thrilling feeling of love held only in the heart, fleeting emotions that pass in an instant, and another story that might have unfolded with a different choice, calling them into the reality beside us.

It is a pop track in which energetic drum & bass rhythms and a soft easy listening sensibility that rises pleasantly intersect exquisitely, likening the thrill of falling in love to "Hazy" and comparing the shy but confident truth that raises its head within it to the flower "Daisy."
Ifeye's debut song 'NERDY' and previous track 'R U OK,' where Ifeye dominated the stage as a "next-generation performance idol" and resembled dark, mysterious warriors, "Hazy (Daisy)" embraces an innocent and dreamy atmosphere. Dropping the intense girl-crush concept and heavy sound, they adopted pop elements that bring them one step closer to the public, highlighting Ifeye's bold transformation.
The relentlessly split rhythms give an energetic tension like a heart beating fast from falling in love or running toward a destination, while the girllike tone that relaxes and actively uses soft falsetto mixed with breath stands out. Main vocalist Sasha did not participate in promotions for health reasons, but the members' collective vocal growth and new tonal charms are impressive enough that the absence of the main vocalist is not felt.
The music video showcases the performance that can be called Ifeye's identity. The fast beat forms the backbone of the song, so there is no problem showing the performance that was previously considered a strength. Although the mood changed from the previous work, Ifeye's intense performance remained. If the performance in the previous work was linear, intense and powerful, the performance in "Hazy (Daisy)" emphasized the beauty of curves and enhanced femininity.
