'Radio Star' Seohyuncheol said he has an unusual family member.
On the 15th broadcast, MBC variety show 'Radio Star' (hereinafter 'Ras') featured an 'Oh My GOD' special with Seohyuncheol, Jang Dong-min, Cha Ji-yeon, and beatboxer WING (WING).
On that day Seohyuncheol said he lives with his wife, daughter, father, and mother-in-law, drawing attention. Kim Gu Ra said, "It's not easy for in-laws to live together," and Seohyuncheol explained, "After my father-in-law passed away and only my mother-in-law remained, she often took care of my daughter, so we naturally ended up living together."
He said he originally lived with his biological father. Seohyuncheol said, "There was only one TV. Trying to be considerate, we'd say, 'Watch the drama,' 'Watch the baduk,' take turns, and then no one would actually watch TV. So we moved to a larger house and put a TV in my mother-in-law's room and my father's room respectively."
He also shared an anecdote about how awkward it was when they first lived together. Seohyuncheol said, "When my wife and I went out to work, the three of them had to eat together. If my mother-in-law said to my daughter, 'Eat,' and fed her, the daughter would accept the food and say, 'Grandma, grandpa, feed me too.'"
He added, "Even if my father refused, if she was stubborn she would say, 'Feed me quickly.' It was really difficult. It was awkward at first, but now she's all grown up, which is a relief."
