Son Tae Jin's first remake EP "Promise of Spring" is an album that revives beloved classic songs that have been loved across generations and honestly captures present emotions through his interpretations and voice.
Through "Promise of Spring," Son Tae Jin makes someone recall an old memory and envelops someone else in a new feeling they are experiencing for the first time. In this way, Son Tae Jin connects the past and the present.
From the process of selecting songs for the remake album, Son Tae Jin spent a long time in consideration and added deep respect and sincerity for senior musicians to express his gratitude. While not harming the emotional line of the original songs, he added Son Tae Jin's vocal color to capture a new hue.
With these choices, Son Tae Jin reinterpreted a total of five songs: Choi Hee-joon's "The Boarding House Tenant," Song Chang-sik's "The Very First Confession," Patti Kim's "I Can't Forget," Woo Soon-sil's "The Lost Umbrella," and Lee Jang-hee's "I Will Give You Everything."
