Actor Song Hyekyo is continuing her 'The Glory' friendship with Yeom Hye-ran.
Song Hyekyo posted a photo on the 14th with the caption "Hyeran unni~ thank you for the invitation♥ #My Name Is".
In the released photo, Song Hyekyo is shown attending the VIP premiere of the new film 'My Name Is'. Song Hyekyo attended the VIP premiere at the invitation of her close friend, actor Yeom Hye-ran, and when the actors came out to greet the audience, she also took a verification photo and uploaded it to social media. In particular, Song Hyekyo attracted attention by adding the cute line "Hyeran unni~ thank you for the invitation."
Earlier, Song Hyekyo and Yeom Hye-ran first worked together in the Netflix series 'The Glory', which premiered on Dec. 2022. In the drama, Song Hyekyo played the perpetrator Moon Dong-eun, who suffered school violence, and Yeom Hye-ran played the wife Kang Hyun-nam, who suffered domestic violence from her husband. The story, in which the two victims unite and join forces to confront the perpetrator, delivered great catharsis.
Meanwhile, Song Hyekyo is set to appear in the new Netflix release 'Slowly and intensely', which had a budget of 80 billion won. The script was written by writer Noh Hee-kyung and directed by Lee Yun-jeong, director of 'Coffee Prince'. The film stars Song Hyekyo along with Gong Yoo, Cha Seung-won, Kim Seolhyun and Lee Ha-nee, and depicts the growth stories of those who threw themselves into pursuing shining success despite having no possessions, set against the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to the 1980s, when barbarism and violence were rampant.<
