The group Cortis (CORTIS) released a rich schedule ahead of their second mini album comeback, kicking off full-fledged hype.
According to distributor YG Plus and Universal Records, Cortis's second mini album GREENGREEN, set to be released May 4, already surpassed 2.02 million preorders three weeks before the official release.
Amid this explosive response, Cortis opened a calendar with a variety of promotional schedules on their official social media channels at 9 p.m. on the 14th. According to the released schedule, starting with a pre-release of the title track "REDRED" on April 20, content related to the album tracks "TNT" and "ACAI" will be released in line with the May album release date.
Above all, like their debut, this new release again draws attention because all members were deeply involved in the planning and production overall. The title track "REDRED" was worked on by all Cortis members and blends the direction the team should take and points to be cautious of into original lyrics and trendy sound. In particular, the members created their own footage that they planned and filmed themselves before producing the main music video, and based on that they completed the skeleton of the actual music video. This original-version video, which fully captures Cortis's sensibility, will be unveiled on April 29.
Then on May 4 and 11, music videos for the tracks "TNT" and "ACAI" will be opened, respectively. The "TNT" music video, which captures the team's dynamic and boiling energy, and the "ACAI" music video, inspired by the members' favorite snack the acai bowl, are expected to present bold and fresh direction that aligns with the songs' core messages.
Along with this, conceptual performance films that focus on the three songs' key choreographies will also be released in sequence. Through Cortis's distinctive energetic performances that stick in the mind, expectations are mounting over whether they can recreate the global short-form challenge craze sparked by the previous tracks "GO!" and "FaSHioN."
With lyrics and composition as well as performance and video all co-created by the members, Cortis's second mini album GREENGREEN, which raised the album's quality and authenticity to the highest level, will be officially released on May 4.
