Park Hye-kyung, a former Love after Divorce 5 cast member, reappeared on a dating program to find a new connection after breaking up with Shim Gyu-deok.
On the 14th, the first episode of MBC Every1 and E Channel variety show 'Dolssing N Moso' depicted the first meeting between divorced women and single-from-birth men. 'Dolssing N Moso' is a dating reality program in which divorced women who bitterly experienced the "end" of a relationship and men who have never even experienced the "start" of a relationship enter a "dating boarding school" together to find partners.
The person who appeared as the sixth divorced woman that day introduced herself as a "former Love after Divorce cast member," drawing attention. She was none other than Park Hye-kyung, who in Love after Divorce 5 had been matched as the final couple with Seoul National University–educated lawyer Shim Gyu-deok.
Park Hye-kyung divorced after three years of marriage and is known to have a daughter who is not in her custody. During her appearance on MBN's Love after Divorce 5, she gained attention as a look-alike of Jung Yu-mi and continued dating Shim Gyu-deok, even confirming a real-life relationship. However, they broke up after about a month of dating, and Shim Gyu-deok is currently preparing to remarry after meeting, through an acquaintance, Lee Ah-young, a former Love after Divorce 1 cast member, and going public with their relationship.
In the meantime, Nucksal expressed admiration at Park Hye-kyung's decision to appear on another dating program, saying, "You were on other programs too, but coming out again takes a lot of courage."
Park Hye-kyung said, "I really went on Love after Divorce to meet a good person, but there was none of the behavior that shows affection. It was a relationship where I was the only one who had to give," revealing that the intensity of feelings during her relationship with Shim Gyu-deok was different.
The producers then asked, "Do you still want to date?" and Park Hye-kyung said, "I just want stability. At least when I'm worried about something and it's hard to share those things with friends.
