aespa Karina vowed to get her driver's license for her grandmother.
On the 14th, a new video titled "Only sufficient practice is the shortcut to passing" was posted on aespa's official YouTube channel.
That day Karina said, "This is the driver's license test center. The reason I came here is to take the written test." She said that to that end she had been studying in spare moments even during her schedule.
Karina said, "I usually don't believe in morning horoscopes or Ohahas. I went in to see if there was even a lucky color and it said 12th, Aries, I'm Aries," and added, "There was a lucky action: 'take a walk to a nearby temple.' I'm Catholic."
Karina said the reason she wants to obtain a license is, "I still live with my grandmother. I was reading a book and it had a part about going on a drive with my grandmother. I wanted to put her in my passenger seat before she gets any older."
She continued, "So I can't just let time pass like this. I should get my license right away and take her for a drive. So impulsively, the day after I had that thought I went to my managers and said, 'I'm going to get it,' " she said.
When asked where she wanted to drive, Karina said, "I haven't thought about that. I only thought about giving her a ride. If my grandmother's friends have plans, I'll take her there."
Aiming to just exceed the passing score of 60 points, Karina ran back laughing after the test and bragged, "Passed! I passed with a whopping 85 points."<
