Actor Ahn So-young revealed a harrowing accident during the filming of the movie "Aema Buin" in which she nearly lost her life.
On the 15th, a video in which past filming behind-the-scenes were recounted was released on the YouTube channel "Real Actresses."
That day Ahn So-young recalled the time of filming "Aema Buin," saying, I was in the car and it went straight into the water. The staff and the director were wailing that Ahn So-young was dead, but I went into the reeds and was trembling, she said, shocking viewers.
She described the situation at the time, saying, It was a driving scene and I got my license while shooting that movie. The director told me to drive at 100 km/h, and suddenly I was startled when I saw a middle school boy walking and turned the wheel, but the car hit a tree and then fell into the Paldang Dam, she explained.
By a stroke of luck she was able to survive. Ahn So-young recalled, At the time I was scuba diving, so I could see the flow of the water. I thought, If I follow that water I can get out, and I got out, she recalled.
That was not all. She confessed, This is a work for which I risked my life three times while shooting "Aema Buin," and I even rode a horse without a saddle and bled, suggesting how poor the filming conditions were at the time.
She added that the production budget was 70 million won but the producer earned 5 billion won. It was money made from video rights, she added, conveying the explosive popularity of the work at the time.
Meanwhile, through "Aema Buin" Ahn So-young gained great popularity and established herself as a representative sex star of the 1980s.
