Actor Hwang Shin-hye suffered a toe fracture.
On the afternoon of the 15th, KBS1 variety show Hwang Shin-hye's Let's Live Together aired, and Jang Yoon Jeong and Jung Ga-eun held a special "healing day" for a depressed Hwang Shin-hye who had a foot fracture.
Hwang Shin-hye appeared supported by her two younger siblings, and asked, "Are you okay, sister? How did you get hurt?" In response, Hwang Shin-hye said, "It really seems like everything happens in an instant in a ridiculous way."
In an interview with the production team, Hwang Shin-hye mentioned the toe fracture, saying, "I was wearing platform slippers, and when I got out of the car the slipper suddenly slipped off my foot. As I was getting out I thought, 'I should put the slipper back on my foot,' and at that moment the heights didn't match and it twisted. I ran straight to orthopedics, and they said my big toe had a hairline fracture. It was really despairing."
Hwang Shin-hye also said, "After getting hurt, walking stairs is so difficult. There really aren't places where people with disabilities can use wheelchairs," and confessed, "When my (paralyzed) sibling uses a wheelchair, our family has gone to restaurants or other places and had to turn back because of stairs."
That day, the two younger siblings prepared a wheelchair for the fractured Hwang Shin-hye and began touring the botanical garden.<
