The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER achieved million-seller status upon their comeback.
BigHit Music said on the 14th, "According to album sales tally site Hanteo Chart, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's mini album 8 "7TH YEAR: When the wind briefly stopped in the thorn bush" recorded 1,357,092 copies sold on the day of release on the 13th," adding that this meant they had achieved million-seller status with first-day sales of the new release.
In particular, TOMORROW X TOGETHER with this record extended their streak to seven consecutive initial-week (sales during the week after release) million-seller titles.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER released their mini album 8 "7TH YEAR: When the wind briefly stopped in the thorn bush" on the 13th and made a comeback. This album drew attention as the first new release after signing a full-group contract renewal with BigHit Music.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER members said at the comeback showcase about the new release, "This is our first album since the contract renewal, so it feels very meaningful. We will show a cool side. As this is our first comeback after the contract renewal, we prepared diligently as if we were debuting," and, "We who used to tell the boyhood growth narrative have returned with a heartrending love story. We're in our eighth year and time has gone by very quickly. Thank you for being with us as we grew like this."
The members took the lead on this new release and captured the feelings and thoughts they have felt over seven years since their debut. The title track "Stick With You (A day, just one more day)" expresses the yearning to hold on to a love whose end is in sight.
The song entered Melon's "Top 100" at 34 within one hour of release, and climbed to 18 at 12:00 a.m. on the 14th.
