Yu Ggaet-ip and Choi Go-gi, who are in their seventh year of divorce, appeared, the two who said they met at a performance venue in 2015. Choi Go-gi, who was 24 at the time, recalled about Yu Ggaet-ip, who was 22, "She lived in Busan; I told her I would provide for her and asked her to live with me," and "I said if you become a YouTuber you would do well, I suggested being an influencer," recalling the time they worked as a couple YouTuber.
But the two divorced in 2020 after four years of marriage. Choi Go-gi confessed, "I divorced thinking why won't she understand my heart." He said there was a difference in values. After the divorce Choi Go-gi confessed he experienced depression for the first time, and Yu Ggaet-ip seemed to be hearing this for the first time. Nevertheless, regarding raising the child Choi Go-gi said, "People say I have a lot of money but I don't," and "It was responsibility over money," saying it was hard to bring up the topic of divorce with their then 4-year-old daughter.
Choi Go-gi said, "I explained that dad and mom's love for you does not change," and about his daughter said, "She is lovable and cute." Choi Go-gi said, "If I hadn't raised her I would have remained an immature dad; I gained much more by raising my daughter," and said, "I live for my daughter."
We looked into Choi Go-gi's daily life. When a producer who has been helping the parenting channel for two years came to the house, the daughter happily greeted the producer. At that moment the daughter suddenly called out "mom," surprising everyone. Choi Go-gi introduced her as "the parenting channel producer and also my girlfriend," saying they have been dating for an impressive five years. He said they met two years after the divorce.
The three said they met the unmarried girlfriend in 2022 and have been together since the daughter was 6. At a meal together, Choi Go-gi mentioned Yu Ggaet-ip to his daughter and asked, "When you meet mom what do you want to do," telling her to think about what she would want to do during visitation interviews; the daughter surprised everyone by saying, "I would rather you not talk about (Ggaet-ip mom)."
Yu Ggaet-ip also looked embarrassed. The daughter said, "If we talk about it I miss her more and I can't sleep," and "I cried because I missed her; I wish we wouldn't talk about it because I'm afraid it will happen," conveying the heavy reason. When Choi Go-gi again asked, "Would you rather we not talk about it even normally," the daughter said, "It's okay on days I see mom," and candidly said, "In the past there were feelings of sadness in my heart," and "They disappeared but a little (of the sad feelings) remains." When asked where she felt the emotion, the daughter said, "It's a secret," hiding her feelings.
The panel members watching the monitor said, "No matter how another mother fills it, it cannot be filled," and Yu Ggaet-ip said, "My daughter says things like this; she said she missed me so much she cried yesterday; I tell her to call me at those times," adding, "She said she couldn't call because she thought I might be sleeping," expressing remorse and showing tears.
