On the 14th (local time), according to the Daily Mail, Bobby Ferreira recently appeared on a podcast and detailed the process by which he left "Euphoria" after season 2 in 2022. At the time, he had posted a farewell on his social media without giving specific reasons, which prompted fans' curiosity.
Bobby Ferreira said of the departure process, "It wasn't dramatic at all." He said, "I had long conversations with the production team to make the character I played, 'Cat,' a fully realized person, but ultimately it couldn't go anywhere," suggesting the character's development had stalled.
He said, "As an actor, I don't think you need to stay on the biggest show on earth if you're not acting," and added candidly, "I chose to perform in independent films that might have smaller budgets but allow me to use my muscles as an actor and tell real stories, rather than remaining a 'background character' for nine months."
