The group Monsta X is making a dazzling impact across multiple fields and is on an unstoppable global trajectory.
According to an official social media notice from NBC's The Kelly Clarkson Show, Monsta X will appear as a guest on the program on the upcoming 15th (local time). This is one of the promotional events for the group's third full-length U.S. album released on the 3rd, 'Unfold (언폴드)', and their return to the same show after six years raises expectations.
Monsta X released their new work 'Unfold', making history as the first K-pop artist to release three full-length albums in the United States. The new record includes 10 tracks that deal with love stories of varying emotional temperatures. In particular, the title track 'heal (힐)' is a song in which the repression and eruption of emotions are expressed progressively over a majestic, weighty sound, asking what "true healing" is between lovers who hurt each other yet cannot let go.
The album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart shortly after its release and ranked No. 2 on the Billboard top album sales chart. It also attracted intense coverage from major U.S. media such as Billboard, Forbes and Access Hollywood. In addition, it has been sweeping major U.S. broadcasts and radio such as ABC's Good Morning America, iHeartRadio and FOX11's Good Day LA, earning enthusiastic local responses, and attention is focused on what captivating performance they will deliver on The Kelly Clarkson Show, which they return to after six years.
Earlier in 2020 Monsta X appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show as the first K-pop group to do so, capturing the attention of music fans around the world. At the time they performed to commemorate the release of their first U.S. full-length album 'ALL ABOUT LUV (올 어바웃 러브)', singing the title track 'YOU CAN'T HOLD MY HEART (유 캔트 홀드 마이 하트)', leaving a deep impression with a sensuous, fluid performance accompanied by a stand microphone.
Through that appearance, Monsta X demonstrated solid live skills and deft stage presence, earning praise from local audiences and major media. Billboard covered their performance in depth, reestablishing Monsta X's firm position in the global music market. Also, the album 'ALL ABOUT LUV' reached No. 5 on the main Billboard 200 chart and entered the top 10 on seven chart categories, ranked No. 7 on the Rolling Stone top 200 albums, No. 1 on Radio Disney's top Radio Disney songs, and was selected as one of TIME's five best songs of the week, achieving remarkable results.
Meanwhile, Monsta X plans to intensify their global activities by launching the North American leg of their world tour '2026 Monsta X World Tour [The X : Nexus]' beginning in October.
