Comedian Yang Sang-guk performed a Gyeongsang-do man's confession skit.
On the 14th, a video titled Kang Ji-yeong from Daegu (former) announcer, the Kimhae crown prince Yang Sang-guk who came to give a dialect special lecture (Gyeongsang-do dialect special lecture) was posted on the YouTube channel "Kang Ji-yeong's Circle."
That day Yang Sang-guk met announcer Kang Ji-yeong and conducted dialect training. Yang Sang-guk taught first period: a taste of the Gyeongsang-do dialect, second period: features of the Gyeongsang-do dialect, third period: Gyeongsang-do things Seoul people don't know well, fourth period: things that are dangerous(?) to do in Gyeongsang-do.
In particular, in the fourth period Yang Sang-guk joked, "It's dangerous to call someone by their name without the family name," drawing laughter. Announcer Kang Ji-yeong began taking notes with a serious look.
Yang Sang-guk said, "For example, let's say we're friends. Then normally someone might call, 'Hey, Kang Ji-yeong, where are you?' (calling like this) Sometimes people drop the family name and call just the given name," and added, "But at some point there's a subtle tone. If you call just the name, if it goes well you're lucky, but if not you may never see them again," which added to the laughter.
Announcer Kang Ji-yeong, with a look that she didn't understand, asked back, "You called the name once?" Yang Sang-guk performed the skit saying, "When you drop the family name and call the name and the atmosphere is strange, do you know what you do? Immediately, 'I was joking, you jerk'" which provoked loud laughter.
