Group NewJeans members Haerin and Hye-in were spotted in Copenhagen, Denmark.
On the 12th, sightings of Haerin and Hye-in were posted on social media and other platforms, drawing attention. The internet user who wrote the post said, "I accidentally saw Haerin and Hye-in in Copenhagen. When I told Haerin and Hye-in they were beautiful, they smiled and said thank you. They even greeted us when they left."
The released photos showed Haerin and Hye-in browsing items at a shop in Copenhagen and smiling and talking with what appeared to be staff members, attracting attention.
In particular, speculation grew that they might be preparing a comeback after it was reported that a member was holding a camera for filming in her hands.
In response, NewJeans' agency ADOR said, "It is true that NewJeans members visited Copenhagen, Denmark, together with staff."
Meanwhile, NewJeans members in November 2024 notified ADOR, a label under HYBE, of unilateral termination of their exclusive contracts, claiming ADOR violated management duties, citing, among other things, the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin. An action to confirm the validity of the exclusive contracts followed, and after about a year of legal disputes, the court sided with ADOR and recognized the contracts as valid.
Afterward, Haerin, Hye-in and Hanni returned to ADOR, and ADOR said it was discussing matters closely with Min-ji but judged it difficult to continue with Danielle and notified her of contract termination. ADOR filed a lawsuit seeking about 43.1 billion won in damages against Danielle and one family member and former CEO Min Hee-jin.
