tvN's new variety show "Kill It: Style Creator War" confirmed its premiere date as Tue., May 12, at 10:10 p.m. with the release of a teaser.
"Kill It: Style Creator War" (hereafter "Kill It") is a fashion creator survival show to find the most "iconic" figure in the fashion world. Amid recent shifts in the fashion industry, the project aims to evolve past designer- and model-centered survival shows and launch a project to find people who lead trends, communicate with the public and create culture.
The "Kill It" side released a teaser on the 14th showing the site where the style creator war will take place. A gigantic set of grand scale catches the eye, and seven style mentor corps members appear in succession.
Earlier, the "Kill It" side previewed participants' 100 "self PR films" via its official SNS. They drew attention, approaching 4 million views.
With outstanding participants such as global fashion brand ambassadors, world model super influencers and others all gathered, the lineup included figures who already stir attention by name alone, such as Choi Mina-soo, who ranked No. 1 for three consecutive weeks in TV-OTT integrated non-drama performer topicality rankings (based on Good Data Corporation Fundex) this first half of the year; the "930,000-couple YouTuber" Dan; and Blackpink Jisoo's older sister Kim Ji-yoon. A source said, "In particular, the combined SNS follower count of the 100 participants reached 43 million."
