Totalset chairman Kim Gyun-min, whose roster includes trot singers Han Hye-jin, Park Gun and Jung Da-kyung, reaffirmed his stature as a producer.
Kim Gyun-min received the prestigious producer award at the 2026 K-Trot Grand Awards (KTGA) ceremony held on the 11th at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul.
This award is the result of his efforts to discover artists with global potential in the trot market that spans all generations and to provide wholehearted support so they could fully demonstrate their abilities.
On that day, Park Gun, Sungmin and Ahn Sung Hoon served as proxy recipients for Kim Gyun-min; the three sparked the celebratory atmosphere at the venue with witty acceptance remarks and buoyant energy.
For about 35 years, Kim has been a producer who discovered numerous pop singers such as Roolra, Chakra and Diva and helped them become stars. Recently he has built a solid lineup in the trot market — including trot legend Jinsung and Han Hye-jin; Park Gun and Ahn Sung Hoon, who have become leading trot figures; Sungmin, who successfully transitioned from idol to trot singer; and promising future trot stars Oh Yoo-jin and Lee Soo-yeon — demonstrating an overwhelming presence in the trot market.
Kim received a commendation from the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) in 2021 and was recognized for his influence across the popular music industry with a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024, further proving Totalset's reputation with this latest award.
