Comedian Yang Sang-guk was horrified by KAI's dialect.
On the 13th broadcast of SBS entertainment program 'A ni geunde jinjja' (abbreviated as 'A geunjin'), a new-concept talk show 'Bad Guys' was organized, with Kim Sung-kyun, Yang Sang-guk appearing as guests and showing off their wit.
On that day Tak Jae-Hoon said, "Sang-guk is just a country bumpkin. But that country bumpkin character is getting attention these days," and expressed his pleasure. Yang Sang-guk proudly said, "I lived my whole life as a country bumpkin. But now people somewhat recognize the country bumpkin," adding, "I don't have days off these days."
Yang Sang-guk continued, "The dialect is different before and after getting paid. Before getting paid the dialect is mild. Once you get paid you use a raw dialect(?)" he said, drawing laughter.
Later he mentioned, "These days, because dialects are used a lot on broadcasts, people from Gyeongsang Province say that's 'an old grandpa dialect'," and KAI, who heard this, asked, "Do people these days still use expressions like 'even if I bear your child' to a woman they like?"
Then Yang Sang-guk said, "If you do that these days you'll get arrested," adding, "People don't say such things. They didn't say them before either. The Gyeongsang-style expression is like this. 'Shall I put one more spoon at your house?'" he showcased, adding more laughter. <
