'"I'm SOLO' enthusiasts will love this". Producers and MCs of 'Dolsing N Mosol' revealed viewing points themselves.
Tonight (14th) at night MBC Every1's new entertainment show 'Dolsing N Mosol' premieres.
'Dolsing N Mosol' is a dating program where a divorced woman who wants to love again and a man who has never dated before meet at a "dating boarding school" and learn about love together. The unprecedented pairing of a divorced woman and a man who has never dated before piques curiosity. Ahead of the first broadcast, the production team revealed the viewing points from PD and the three MCs Chae Jung-an, Kim Poong and Nucksal.
First, PD Kim Jae-hoon touted the show's biggest charm as "unpredictability." He emphasized, "Because people with polar opposite dating experiences meet, the usual formula of 'these two will become a couple' doesn't work like typical dating programs. The speed of emotions and ways of expressing them differ, producing unexpected choices and reactions at every moment."
He added, "As partly shown in the teaser, very honest, raw emotions come out as they are. That makes it more fun and easier to immerse yourself and follow the cast's feelings." He repeatedly emphasized the growth of the divorced and never-dated participants and said with strong confidence, "Once you start watching, it will be hard to stop. Please watch a lot."
Among the MCs, Chae Jung-an is also a prominent representative of divorced women. In fact, she married in December 2005 to a man three years older who was an executive in the PR company's marketing department. However, she divorced after one year and six months due to personality differences and later became a wannabe star for women in their 20s and 30s. In 'Dolsing N Mosol,' Chae Jung-an is expected to play the role of a "comfort fairy" who offers warm consolation and practical advice.
About the show's viewing points, Chae Jung-an said she was confident it would "offer new perspectives and chemistry, breaking away from existing prejudices about 'dolsing' and 'mosol.'" She said, "Please look forward to the exciting romances of participants starting love anew. If life needs new energy and dopamine, 'Dolsing N Mosol' is definitely a dopamine hotspot."
Webtoon artist and broadcaster Kim Poong is expected to empathize with the never-dated men's sensibility showcased in his webtoon works. He emphasized, "It's a program that's more fun to watch with friends," and said, "Each scene and every line of dialogue is breathtaking and incredible. There are countless gem scenes that defy prejudices and expectations about divorced and never-dated people." In particular, he added, "If you like the senior dating show 'I'm SOLO,' this will absolutely suit your taste," further piquing curiosity.
Rapper Nucksal focused on the program's emotional texture. He said, "Because moments when someone faces love again and someone faces it for the first time are captured very honestly, it's a story with a slightly different tone from dating programs you've seen so far," and added, "There are stories that will make you laugh, flutter and sometimes feel a tug at your heart."
Amid such anticipation, Park Hye-kyung, who drew attention as a cast member on another dating show, MBN's Love after Divorce 5, joins 'Dolsing N Mosol' as one of the divorced women. Given that Park Hye-kyung was once noted for resembling actress Jung Yu-mi, attention is also drawn to the identities of the other divorced women and never-dated men appearing on the show. The first broadcast is tonight (14th) at 10 p.m.
