Afterward, Shim Kwon-ho successfully underwent liver cancer surgery and returned looking healthier, putting everyone's minds at ease.
Choi Hong-man felt especially sorry for Shim Kwon-ho, said his mother died early from cancer, and added, "When I was young I always climbed oreum with my mother. I think about my mother a lot when I go to the mountains."
Yoon Jungsoo said, "I'm counting backward thinking I'll do my best to live until 80. Years. Then there are about 25, 26 years left. If you do one thing per year, you can only do 26 things. What should I choose for those 26 things? That was the first thing that confused me."
Hearing this, Shim Kwon-ho said confidently, "My choice is decided. My goal is to teach one student from the beginning so that they win a medal. After I pass on everything of mine, I think it's better for me to stand with my hands behind my back and watch."
