Boy group EVNNE, preparing for a comeback, raised expectations with an atmosphere 180 degrees different from before.
EVNNE on the 13th released the first teaser for the music video of their first single album (1st Single Album) "Backtalk (뱉어)".
The video consecutively spotlights the members' striking visuals, starting with Moon Jeong-hyeon running while waving a smoke grenade in a vast space with no visible boundaries, then Lee Jung Hyun lifting his head to reveal his face in the sky, Park Han-bin walking somewhere and turning back with a nonchalant expression, Keita fixing his hat while staring straight ahead, and Park Ji-hoo posing with his hat pulled down low.
The flow of the static video turns dynamic after the five members of EVNNE appear in one frame. The members' movements, naturally riding the rhythm with swag-filled arm motions, exude a sense that seems to transcend reality.
In particular, the rough sound that seems to scrape the eardrums and the lyrics "there is no giving up, keep crashing into it, Pave a new way" contain the message of "Backtalk (뱉어)", which is about creating one's own path even when colliding in an imperfect world, arousing curiosity.
Earlier, EVNNE through a motion video announcing their five-member comeback showed scenes of the Etoiles, meaning the team's name Evening's New Etoiles, "spitting" stars, clay figures of the five people, and revealed the single album's title "Backtalk (뱉어)" and the release date, thrilling fans who were waiting for the comeback.
EVNNE is a group born from Mnet's audition program "Boys Planet" season 1, which aired successfully in 2023, and over the 2 years and 3 months of their activities they shone with a variety of songs such as "How Can I Do", "HOT MESS", "Badder Love", "UGLY", and "TROUBLE". Beginning with a Seoul fan meeting in early January, the five-member new EVNNE has been reborn with Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jung Hyun, Moon Jeong-hyeon, and Park Ji-hoo.
