"Malja Show"'s Kim Young-hee said the important thing is the situation, not worrying about MBTI personality differences.
On the 13th, the KBS2 show "Malja Show," which aired a "personality" special, received a concern saying, "Because of my partner who is a capital T, every conversation is stressful. Please tell me how not to get hurt."
Kim Young-hee explained the difference between T (thinking, realistic) and F (feeling) for audience members unfamiliar with MBTI. She went on to say that T and F personalities are similar to the shapes of letters, describing, "T does not have large emotional swings. In contrast, F's emotions lean to one side," and emphasized, "F keeps asking T for empathy. It's not that they won't give it, it's that they can't."
Kim Young-hee said she thinks opposite MBTI types get along well and, together with guest Kim Shin-young that day, performed a skit in which an F wife badmouths a friend to her husband. Kim Shin-young vividly portrayed both the T husband and the F husband, drawing laughs.
Kim Young-hee said, "The reason people tell you not to speak cruelly outwardly is because the first person to hear the insult is yourself," and added, "If you don't receive empathy, you stop cursing and your mind quickly calms. But when F people talk among themselves, they stay angry." She emphasized, "To calm down quickly, go to a T; if you want to be soothed, confide in an F. It's not that T or F is important, but if you manage relationships by considering the situation, you can get by without major trouble."
The show also featured a segment in which audience members introduced friends with unusual personalities. First, a "show-off guy friend" appeared and demonstrated LE SSERAFIM's "Spaghetti" signature choreography. At his unusually high energy, Jung Beom-gyun said, "My energy is drained," showing signs of fatigue and eliciting laughter.
The second story introduced a friend who is extremely introverted. The storyteller said, "I barely brought him to 'Malja Show'," and Kim Young-hee asked, "Since your friend was brought to 'Malja Show,' show us a reaction," requesting the "show-off guy friend" perform the "Spaghetti" choreography he had shown.
