Actor Kim Sung-kyun was revealed to be the same age as Kim Tae-hee and Gang Dong-won.
On the 13th, the SBS entertainment program 'Ani geunde jinjja' (abbreviated as 'Ageunjin') aired, featuring a new-concept talk show called 'Bad Guys,' with Kim Sung-kyun and Yang Sang-guk appearing as guests and showing off their wit.
That day Kim Sung-kyun answered that he was born in 1980 (46 years old) when asked about his age. Then Lee Suji said "Isn't he the same age as Kim Tae-hee and Gang Dong-won? You worked hard," playfully noting Kim Sung-kyun's aged-looking face.
In response, Lee Sang-min mentioned, "But I heard Sung-kyun's face is the same as when he was in middle school," and Kim Sung-kyun retorted, "That comment is a bit harsh," eliciting laughter.
But Kim Sung-kyun soon revealed a school-day anecdote that added to the laughter. He recalled, "When I was in middle school I often climbed mountains with my mother. We often went to Gatbawi on Palgong Mountain in Daegu."
He continued, "At the time the school uniform was gray-toned, and one person climbing the mountain saw me and said, 'Monk, I really can't climb,'" which provoked uproarious laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung-kyun said that the distributor opposed him during the audition for 'The Man from Nowhere,' drawing attention. Kim Sung-kyun said, "Because an unfamiliar face was given an important role (it was understandable they opposed). At that time the film director played my audition tape and pushed, 'Who else but him would do it?'" saying he was cast thanks to a strong impression, which added to the laughter.
