Waiting for Shim Kwon-ho in Jeju with Yoon Jungsoo, Choi Hong-man said, "I also had a lot I wanted to say while watching (Shim Kwon-ho)," showing an excited expression. Kim Kook Jin explained, "Choi Hong-man also had a major surgery once while training. He went through a difficult period. Seeing Kwon-ho in pain didn't feel like someone else's situation. It's something you feel together."
Meeting for the first time, Yoon Jungsoo and Choi Hong-man exchanged warm feelings with a hug. Choi Hong-man drew laughter by showing the superhuman strength to lift Shim Kwon-ho with one arm. Shim Kwon-ho said, "We did the same sport but there was no overlap. We didn't meet. I missed you."
Choi Hong-man said, "I train hard. I haven't retired yet. I work out at the gym every day and go to the mountains," and when asked what life in Jeju was like he answered, "My mindset changed. The wounds I received from people were healed by people." He added that he had been in Jeju for five years.
