TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) released the music video for the title track "Harue Haruman Deo (Stick With You)" from their mini album 8, '7TH YEAR: 가시덤불에 잠시 바람이 멈췄을 때', on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 13th. The five members teamed up with actor Jeon Jong-seo to produce a work like a movie.
The music video unfolds around a man's fear that his lover will leave, and the sight of the five members chasing the departing lover with anxious eyes heightens the tension. At the end of their gaze, the lover spends time with a stranger, smiling happily, while the members' anxious emotional performances watching this increase immersion. The anxiety gradually escalates to extremes. But the mood reverses the moment the person realizes the one with their lover is themselves. In the end, it shows that what shook them was not external circumstances but inner anxiety. The setup in which the five members share and portray one person adds a novel amusement.
This music video was directed by Lee Han-gyeol. He has shown cinematic direction in BOYNEXTDOOR's "Count To Love", Lee Young-ji's "Robot" and recently drew attention for BTS' "2.0" music video. In "Harue Haruman Deo (Stick With You)" he also presented a highly polished work with fresh narrative and stylish visuals.
"Harue Haruman Deo (Stick With You)" is a song that depicts the yearning to hold on to a love that is coming to an end. In the electro pop genre, its addictive and powerful chorus melody grabs the ear. The performance, which amplifies the song's emotional line, is also a viewing highlight.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's mini album 8, '7TH YEAR: 가시덤불에 잠시 바람이 멈췄을 때', deals with the emotions and thoughts felt over the seven years since their debut. It gains additional meaning as the first group album presented after re-signing with their agency, BigHit Music, last year. Today (the 13th) at 8 p.m. they will hold a comeback showcase at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium and meet fans.
