A mysterious woman who visited Shim Kwon-ho, who is in the early stages of liver cancer, is revealed on TV CHOSUN's hyperrealistic documentary-variety show 'The Casanova of Joseon,' turning the studio upside down.
In a preview clip of 'The Casanova of Joseon,' which will air at 10 p.m. on Monday the 13th, Shim Kwon-ho is seen eating with the production team in good health three weeks after liver cancer surgery. When the production team pressed, "Show me the photos," Shim Kwon-ho shyly refused, saying, "I told you there are no photos...," creating an awkward atmosphere.
It turned out there was more to the story. After learning of Shim Kwon-ho's liver cancer diagnosis from a previous broadcast, a female fan brought red ginseng and visited Shim Kwon-ho's home in person. When this was revealed, the show's Casanova hosts were astonished, exclaiming, "To his house?!"
On screen, Shim Kwon-ho, looking shy, smiled faintly and searched for the female fan on his phone. The production team urged the 'novice in dating' Shim Kwon-ho, saying, "Send her a message. Say, 'I'm doing well right now'..." Shim Kwon-ho shook his head, saying, "Stop, I don't want to," but the production team persisted, saying, "You have to make him do it; he won't do it on his own," and continued to encourage him. Even the Casanova hosts were surprised and curious about the news, raising questions about who the 'red ginseng woman' who showed affection to Shim Kwon-ho might be.
