The group i-dle will take over the music scene this summer.
i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) has confirmed the release of a new album in July and is concentrating on finalizing the work. It is their first new song in about five months since the digital single "Mono (Feat. skaiwater)" released last January.
i-dle has been very active this year. "Mono (Feat. skaiwater)" solidified their title as a "music chart powerhouse," sweeping top positions on major domestic music sites as well as on China's largest music streaming platform QQ Music, Tencent Music's Korea chart, and iTunes charts.
Since February they have held their fourth world tour, 2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation], meeting global fans sequentially starting in Seoul, then Taipei, Bangkok, and others. The Taipei performance was especially meaningful as it was the first time a K-pop girl group performed at Taipei Dome.
i-dle will heat up the United States this summer alongside their comeback. After their first appearance at the major U.S. music festival Lollapalooza, held July 31 in Grant Park in Chicago (local time), they will begin a North American tour in August.
Having already appeared on U.S. broadcasts and radio to share news about the new album and raise fans' curiosity, expectations are growing about what new music and performances i-dle will bring.
