The group BABYMONSTER revealed personal visuals offering a first look at the concept for their third mini album [Choom (CHOOM)], raising the heart rates of global music fans.
On the 13th YG Entertainment posted '[Choom (CHOOM)] VISUAL PHOTO' on its official blog. The visuals of Asa and Chikita, shot in a shocking mugshot concept reminiscent of a breaking news screen, were unveiled for the first time, drawing attention.
The two members stared straight into the camera with charismatic eyes that created a strange tension and a hip aura. Asa emanated a distinctive presence with a bob haircut and red halter-neck styling, and Chikita showed off her signature kitsch charm in a look that paired a vivid-colored top with a fur accent.
While their bold command of the concept left a strong impact, the English phrase engraved on the panel is striking as well. The witty line 'Charged with a crime of dancing too excitedly' heightens anticipation for the new musical world BABYMONSTER will unveil with this comeback.
BABYMONSTER will release the third mini album [Choom (CHOOM)] at 6 p.m. on May 4 and begin comeback activities with the title track of the same name. YG said the album is "as the title suggests, a record that captures the electrifying moment of becoming one through music and dance."
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will embark on their second world tour starting with concerts in Seoul in June. The long journey will visit six Japanese cities (Kobe·Fukuoka·Yokohama·Chiba·Nagoya·Osaka) and then tour Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America across five continents. In particular, the Seoul shows, the starting point of the tour, sold out all seats across three performances, once again proving overwhelming ticket power.
