"My Little Old Boy" actor Lee Bum-soo was shown soothing the emptiness left by his family leaving by cleaning.
On the 12th episode aired on SBS, "My Little Old Boy" (hereafter "My Little Old Boy") introduced actor Lee Bum-soo, who recently announced a consensual divorce, as a new member and revealed his new daily life for the first time.
Lee Bum-soo described his recent life living alone in the house where he used to live with his family. Known to be technologically challenged, he ran into trouble when he tried to use an OTT service for the first time in a while. Calling an acquaintance, Lee Bum-soo said he was flustered, saying, "I turned it on to watch OTT after a long time, but it tells me to log in."
When his acquaintance explained that it might have been automatically logged out, he responded in disbelief, "Why would it log out?" and showed his technophobic side by asking, "Does the machine do that?" which brought laughter to the scene. When his acquaintance explained the QR code login method, he struggled saying, "What is that?" and even bewildered everyone with the odd question, "What is my account?"
Ultimately, Lee Bum-soo gave up on logging in and headed not to the living room but to the children's rooms. He neatly arranged the bedding on the bed where he now sleeps alone to steady his mind. His subsequent actions made viewers' hearts ache.
Lee Bum-soo entered the room his daughter used when they lived together and began quietly vacuuming. He then went to his son Da-eul's room. There, too, Lee Bum-soo continued vacuuming without stopping and tidied every corner of the room.<
