The controversy arose from a video released on the 12th. The video showed Baek Z Young leaving for a camping trip with her husband Jung Seok-won. During this process, a scene was captured in which she took out and used Coupang's refrigerated delivery bag, the 'Fresh Bag,' outside, sparking controversy.
The Fresh Bag is a reusable bag that is collected after delivery is completed, and critics said it is inappropriate to use it for personal purposes. The video spread through online communities and social media, amplifying the controversy.
As the controversy spread, Baek Z Young promptly posted an apology and took quick actions such as deleting the problematic scene.
