Singer HyunA is preparing for a new journey with the strong support of her husband, Yong Jun-hyung.
HyunA announced on the 2nd that she had parted ways with her agency At Area, where she had been for three years. The agency said, "After in-depth discussions with HyunA about her future activities, we have agreed to terminate the exclusive contract," and asked for much interest and love as they cheered on the new journey HyunA is about to begin.
HyunA signed an exclusive contract with At Area in 2023. After ending her contract with P NATION and pursuing independent activities, HyunA settled at At Area after 1 year and 3 months, and one year later, in 2024, she married Yong Jun-hyung and started a family.
The couple, HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung, left their agencies around the same time. Before HyunA, Yong Jun-hyung repeatedly requested corrections from his former agency over a long period in which major contractual obligations were not fulfilled, saying the problem had not been resolved for years, and on March 12, 2026, he notified them of contract termination based on relevant laws. Yong Jun-hyung explained that he left the agency on the 30th of last month.
HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung parted ways with their agencies about ten days apart, and their bond has grown stronger. Ahead of her new start, HyunA also undertook a diet and began managing her condition. Photos HyunA posted to her social account on the 12th showed her recent condition, including pictures of her traveling in Japan with Yong Jun-hyung and shots capturing HyunA with weight loss from dieting.
