'Yumi's Cells season 3' Kim Go-eun and Kim Jaewon completed an awkward first meeting.
On the 13th, the Tving original 'Yumi's Cells season 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yeop, written by Song Jae-jung·Kim Kyung, presented by Tving, produced by Studio Dragon·Merry Cow·Studio N) depicted the first meeting between Kim Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) and Shin Sun-rok (played by Kim Jaewon).
That day Kim Yumi faced Shin Sun-rok, the new PD who would be in charge of her. The assistant writer Baek Na-hee (played by Cho Hae-jung), who opened the door for Kim Yumi and saw Shin Sun-rok first, jokingly said to Kim Yumi, "Young, tall and handsome."
After seeing Shin Sun-rok in person, Kim Yumi quietly murmured, "It's real." After Baek Na-hee, who has an extroverted personality, left work, silence between the two filled the studio.
Unable to bear the awkwardness, Kim Yumi tried to speak to Shin Sun-rok and realized they were already acquainted. Three years earlier, Shin Sun-rok had been an employee at the publishing company who was in charge of Kim Yumi, but he resigned immediately and they were not able to greet each other then.
Time passed and Shin Sun-rok rejoined Julie Publishing, and again became the one in charge of Kim Yumi. Kim Yumi joked, "You're in charge of me again? Isn't this our fate?" but Shin Sun-rok did not react strongly.
While asking whether he had registered his parking, Kim Yumi learned that Shin Sun-rok, who came by bus, lived in the same neighborhood as her. To avoid meeting him, she intentionally left the studio 10 minutes later, but she eventually met him again at the bus stop.
Kim Yumi said she was going in a different direction than Shin Sun-rok and turned away, but they met again in front of her favorite bungeoppang shop. Shin Sun-rok stood right in front of Kim Yumi and bought all of the items she liked, earning her dislike.
Meanwhile, the Tving original 'Yumi's Cells season 3' will have exclusive early releases of two episodes each Monday at 6 p.m. on Tving starting on the 13th, and will air one episode each Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
