Influencer and broadcaster Kim Ji-young shared behind-the-scenes stories from her wedding.
On the 12th, a video titled "Complete wedding preparation: A to Z from studio, dress, and makeup to the home!" was posted on Kim Ji-young's YouTube channel.
In the video Kim Ji-young said, "I will tell you everything about the wedding," and answered fans' questions about her wedding.
She said about 1,000 guests attended the wedding and "about 650 people ate at the reception. We prepared 750 to 800 servings, but there was a lot of loss," she said. Kim Ji-young added, "The venue had expensive reception fees, but in the end it could be covered by congratulatory money."
About entering alone she laughed and said, "There was talk like 'there is no father,' but my father is well." She continued, "The reason I entered alone is that the meaning is that the father protects the daughter all the way and then hands her over to the groom, but even after I became an adult I did not receive separate support from my parents. I tried to live independently. So that meaning did not resonate with me. I followed my own conviction alone," and said, "Fortunately my father said, 'Do it the way you want.' It's my wedding so no one can say anything about how I want it," which drew empathy.
Regarding the wedding, she said that neither her nor her husband received separate support from their parents and explained, "My husband paid for all the wedding-related expenses. Because of the special nature of my job, I was thankfully able to receive a lot of sponsorships and discounts." About the dowry she added, "The home already had all the dowry items from when I was single. The furniture and appliances were all in place."
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-young married Yun Soo-young, founder of the domestic reading community Trevari, in February, and she revealed she was pregnant before the wedding. The couple recently appeared on SBS' "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny," drawing attention.
