That day Yoon Do-hyun answered Sung Si Kyung's question about how his body has been lately by saying "I'm fine," which brought a sense of relief. In the past, Yoon Do-hyun had revealed that he was diagnosed with a rare cancer.
Yoon Do-hyun recalled, "The cancer was discovered through a health checkup," and said, "Originally I was supposed to receive the results in writing, but the results were unusually delayed. When I thought it was strange, the hospital contacted me saying, 'You need to come in person to hear the results.'"
He remembered, "I asked why I had to go when I was supposed to receive it in writing, and they said, 'There is a slightly bad part.'" and confessed, "My heart was really pounding then. I had prepared myself, but I was nervous."
In response, Sung Si Kyung empathized, saying, "You couldn't calm down," and Yoon Do-hyun continued, "I went to the hospital and pretended to be fine and asked, 'Is it cancer?' and the doctor answered, 'Yes.'"
Yoon Do-hyun explained, "My face turned bright red at that moment," adding, "When I got so nervous, the doctor told me, 'It's not a fatal disease, so don't worry too much. It can be treated sufficiently.'"
Meanwhile, Yoon Do-hyun was diagnosed in 2021 with a rare blood cancer, gastric MALT lymphoma, and after three years of treatment he was declared cured.<
