Taiwanese media ETtoday reported on the whereabouts of Koo Jun-yeob on the 9th (local time), citing an interview with actor and MC Seo Hee-je.
According to the report, Seo Hee-je recently said at an event that his brother-in-law, Koo Jun-yeob, is "currently focusing on painting." He said that Koo Jun-yeob has been engrossed in works themed on the late Seohee-won, and that his work has gone beyond simple sketches to include oil painting.
In particular, he drew attention by saying, "My brother-in-law sends photos of the paintings he makes each time, and when we see them we are really surprised at how much they resemble my sister. He captured her eyes and even her soul." It is known that Koo Jun-yeob has completed at least 10 portraits of the late Seohee-won.
Seo Hee-je added, "It would be a shame for these works to be kept only at home," and "We are considering an exhibition so that many people can see them."
He also commented on Koo Jun-yeob's condition. He said, "He spends time having meals with his family every week," and added, "Lately his eyes have become more lively and he is getting better to the point where he can joke back and forth."
Regarding the inheritance dispute rumors raised by some media earlier, he drew a line, saying, "That is not true at all." Seo Hee-je emphasized, "The family has actually become closer and they love each other."
Meanwhile, Koo Jun-yeob drew attention by marrying the late Seohee-won in 2022, and after the late Seohee-won suddenly passed away in February last year, he spent time in deep sorrow.
