ChoCo1 Yechan, Taejo and ChoCo2 Anpan, Yunji wrapped up the "ChoCo1XChoCo2 1ST LIVE IN JAPAN" concert successfully and spent a meaningful time with local fans.
The concert, held over two days on Apr. 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun) at Tokyo Shinjukumura Live (Shinjukumura Performing Theater), featured ChoCo1 and ChoCo2 members Yechan, Taejo, Anpan and Yunji performing together across four shows. Held in a venue with about 200 seats, the show offered an intimate, high-density format that allowed closer interaction with fans, adding to its specialness.
The concert opened with a powerful performance of "FRENZY," the double title track from Cho Pd's first family project "ChoCo La Familia," produced by Cho Pd. That was followed by performances of "On The Street" and "What's Your Wish," which heated up the atmosphere from the start. Interactive segments such as a Q&A corner, "igudongseong," a "TMI revelation contest," "charades," and "random play dance" continued, creating a lively event shaped by both the artists and fans.
Unit-specific special stages drew strong responses from fans. ChoCo1's Yechan and Taejo selected Tomioka Ai's "Good bye bye" to present a different sensibility, while ChoCo2's Anpan and Yunji reinterpreted BABYMONSTER's Ruka and Asa's "Woke Up in Tokyo," captivating fans. Through this song selection that spanned local Japanese music and K-pop, they clarified their identity as a global project.
Toward the end of the show, the concert concluded with the title track "GIMME," which had received much love from fans, leaving a lingering impression. The four members filled the stage with their individual personalities and performances, proving the synergy and presence of the family project. During the ending talk, the members shared their impressions directly and exchanged sincere moments with fans, and special perks and prize draws such as polaroid photos, hand-signed posters, and random postcard sets were prepared to provide special memories.
Through the "ChoCo1XChoCo2 1ST LIVE IN JAPAN," the ChoCo members interacted more closely with fans and created meaningful moments for both artists and audiences. Having shown a more developed stage and left an impact, they plan to continue various activities going forward.
Meanwhile, ChoCo Entertainment's first family album, "ChoCo La Familia," produced by Cho Pd, a symbol of Korea's first generation of hip-hop, drew attention as the first family project bringing together skilled members ChoCo1 Yechan, Taejo and ChoCo2 Anpan, Yunji.
