Actor Lee Bum-soo revealed his current situation of living alone in the house that holds memories with his family, and recently his ex-wife Lee Yoon-jin's new start—becoming the CEO of Rizo?z after moving—has drawn attention.
On the 12th, the SBS show My Little Old Boy aired, where Lee Bum-soo joined as a new "My Little Old Boy" and revealed his changed daily life for the first time.
The house shown that day was a space where he once lived with his family, but currently it is a home where Lee Bum-soo stays alone. The large living room and kitchen looked somewhat empty with few signs of daily life, suggesting an atmosphere different from before.
Nevertheless, the traces of the children remained unchanged. Lee Bum-soo dusted off and put things back in place as he tidied each room of daughter So-eul and son Da-eul. Inside the rooms were photos, notes and everyday traces left by the children, and he had organized the spaces so the children could come and stay anytime.
This contrasted somewhat with the recently reported daily life of his ex-wife Lee Yoon-jin. Lee Yoon-jin shared news of a new start. She recently said, "I will start anew in Seoul from January as the Korean representative of Creative Rizo(rz)," announcing a career change.
She also reported that she left Bali and settled in Korea with her two children. Lee Yoon-jin said, "I signed a contract for a new house to start anew with the children," and added, "Three people who care sincerely about the house will work together to create a warm and pretty home." She also drew attention by saying she chose an older apartment and is even planning a remodel.
The two people have started new lives in different places. Lee Bum-soo is keeping the house filled with memories, and Lee Yoon-jin is preparing a new space, each making their next chapter in their own way.
Meanwhile, Lee Bum-soo and Lee Yoon-jin married in 2010 and had one son and one daughter, but after divorce rumors in 2023 they completed the divorce process in February.
