Actor Lee Tae-ran looked back on her past as an actor who worked to make a living.
On the 12th, TV CHOSUN's 'Sikgaek Heo Yeongman's baekban journey' featured Heo Yeongman and Lee Tae-ran leaving for Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do.
Heo Yeongman hurried along thinking about meeting Lee Tae-ran. Meeting was arranged at Hongseong's landmark, and Heo Yeongman said, "Until now I guess the reason I have been able to continue 'Baekban Journey' well was to meet Lee Tae-ran," which stirred poignant emotion.

Because she played a villain in the recently aired 'Our Golden Days', the village elders who saw Lee Tae-ran said, "A wicked woman has come," welcoming her. Lee Tae-ran said that before taking the villain role she had played many kind and humane characters, but after 'Our Golden Days' people looked at her differently when she went to restaurants.
Lee Tae-ran said, "Playing the villain Go Seong-hee in 'Our Golden Days' was not easy. It was a character I hadn't tried before, and there was a lot of dialogue, so it was really hard. It was difficult, but receiving an award made it feel like compensation, so I was grateful and it was rewarding." Through 'Our Golden Days', Lee Tae-ran won the 2025 KBS Drama Awards' best actress award.
Lee Tae-ran said about the start of her acting career, "I debuted in 1997, so next year will be 30 years," and "After graduating high school I worked at a company while appearing in bit parts as a part-time job for three years." In the released film 'A Young Man', Lee Tae-ran appeared behind Jung Woosung. Even in a bit part, Lee Tae-ran showed a distinctive aura and presence.
