'Salim-nam' delivered warmth with the story of Takuya, full of brotherly charm.
On the evening of the 11th at 9:20 p.m., KBS 2TV's 'Salim-nam' aired a segment about Takuya's family.
Next, a welcome daily life VCR of Takuya was revealed, showing the person who, after 25 years, met his biological father in a dramatic reunion on the previous broadcast and moved Korea to tears. That day, unlike usual, Takuya diligently cleaned the house and then began cooking after taking ingredients out of the refrigerator. Takuya said, "It's the first time I'll be at home alone with the guest coming today. I want to look good," showing his excitement.
The guest who came to Takuya's house was his youngest sibling, 11 years younger, a half sibling born to his mother and her new husband. Takuya said, "My sibling doesn't know we have different fathers," and added, "I didn't tell them because I was worried the youngest might get hurt or, like I experienced, have a hard time," revealing his thoughtful side.
When Takuya's youngest sibling entered the house, they nagged, "I saw on the broadcast that you only have schedules about twice a month," and "Do you have no work today either?" and checked how the brother made a living by inspecting the kitchen. Flustered, Takuya diverted the sibling's attention with the rare flex of samgyeopsal, and the siblings shared an intimate time eating samgyeopsal and kimchi fried rice together. Takuya's sibling said, "I recently graduated from university safely. I've also secured a job as an interior coordinator," showing a mature side, and Takuya could not hide his amazement, saying, "My youngest sibling, who is 11 years younger than me, looked admirable planning for the future and having things they want to do."
Afterward, the Takuya siblings left the house and enjoyed a date along the Han River. Looking at the distant forest of buildings, the sibling said, "Because you're a celebrity, I thought you'd live in those super high-rise apartments," and hearing this, Takuya fell into thought for a moment.
That night, Takuya visited an indoor pojangmacha with the employed youngest sibling, and they shared a heartfelt conversation there. The sibling, who said they learned about Takuya's biological father through the earlier 'Salim-nam' broadcast, calmly said, "I was surprised because I didn't know my father was different. But the age gap is a bit large and there are personality differences, so there were understandable parts," and spoke matter-of-factly.
Seeing the mature side of his sibling, Takuya showed mixed emotions, and the sibling comforted him, saying, "I wasn't as shocked as you might think. We're siblings, after all." Takuya smiled like an older brother and said, "Seeing you now, you're all grown up," and the sibling responded, "From now on, treat me like an adult," showing off adorable youngest-sibling charm.
