EVNNE recently released the PATINA version of the concept film and concept photo behind-the-scenes for their first single album (1st Single Album) 'Backtalk', showcasing a hip charm within a vintage mood.
The concept film PATINA version contains each of the five EVNNE members' candid stories about the 'self' they each think about, accompanied by a rough-textured screen. The worn screen instead highlights the members' natural inner selves.
From Moon Jeonghyun, who introduces himself as "a completely honest person," to Park Jihoo, who expressed the wish "to be seen as an unadorned person," Park Hanbin, who said the way to overcome the fears of reality is "to acknowledge them," Lee Jeong, who recommends revealing flaws rather than hiding them, and Keita, who overcomes fear through action, the short stories the members calmly share distinctly capture five different characters and draw attention.
The concept photo behind-the-scenes unfolds EVNNE's candid charm exactly as captured in polaroid-style photos. Light and shadow and a monotone mood maximize the members' languid visuals. The members' natural visuals and unpretentious charm, which turn even candid shots into editorial-quality images, grab the eye.
